Out of the Darkness Overnight Walk 2022 NYC

“There is hope because our nation has never been more focused on mental health and the importance of our mental health. There is hope because suicide is finally becoming a national priority.”
–Opening remarks from Robert Gebbia, CEO, American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, at the Overnight Walk, June 4, 2022.
We remain committed to the mission of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, to raise valuable funds that will allow the AFSP to continue funding scientific research, educating the public, advocating for mental health and suicide prevention, and to support survivors of suicide loss.
The Tommy Fuss Team is proud of its outstanding accomplishments. Since 2007, 83 walkers have walked a total of 3,500 miles in 15 Overnight Walks, participated in 2 Virtual Overnight Walks, 6 Morris County NJ Community Walks, raised over $772,000 and touched countless lives.
Thank you to our generous donors who supported the Tommy Fuss Team members in The Overnight Walk on June 4-5, 2022. Out of an abundance of caution for our walkers and their families, we ultimately made the decision not to walk.
